Gary May, Senior Loan Officer

Take a fun-loving personality, mix in equal amounts of a wonderful work ethic and a commitment to exceeding his clients' expectations, and you've got a one-of-a-kind guy that is going places in his professional career. Gary prides himself on making each borrower feel comfortable before, during and—most importantly—after helping them with their mortgage needs. It's a formula for success that he developed prior to joining Embrace Home Loans while working as a Mortgage Loan Specialist with SunTrust Mortgage and as a Loan Officer with Mason Dixon Funding.

A longtime Midwesterner, Gary was born in Ionia, MI, spent much of his childhood in Grant, MI with his parents and three younger brothers. He attended Central Michigan University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a degree in Personal Financial Planning and Marketing. After college he moved to the east coast in hopes of building a career.

Starting in Richmond, VA he worked as a financial analyst with SunTrust Mortgage. Getting his chance to help individuals, he moved to Maryland to join SunTrust's retail mortgage division. After starting to build his business he landed with Mason Dixon Funding in 2006. He has grown his team and his business over the years and is excited with the transition to Embrace Home Loans in late 2009.
